During my walk from the parking garage to work this morning, I noticed that people had written on the sidewalk and walls with chalk. Something about protesting fee hikes. A few feet away from these messages, I noticed this drawing.

Apparently, someone needed a break from the burden of social responsibility and decided to go rogue and draw a cock. I'd like to think that I would have done the same.

Unfortunately, I took this at the end of the day, so much of the detail has been worn away.

Thursday night at Harvey's to people watch and cash in on the Stella that Kyle promised (I ordered wine instead).

Apparently Harvey's is now hosting comedy nights featuring the Bay Area's premiere Latina lesbian comedienne.

Kyle: Did you order that shrimp cocktail just so you could take a picture of it for your blog?

Me: No.

Sometimes I hang out with Daniel and/or Andrew when they're working nights. They're good for a lot of laughs and free therapy.

Me: Daniel, I'm depressed, solve my life!

Daniel: What do you want to know? You're totally hot and awesome, what's the problem?

Me: Thanks.

Today was a tough day.

Getting this belated birthday present from Andrew was a nice surprise, though.

I've watched Once, twice. I took this with my webcam during my second viewing.

I think Once is the kind of movie I'd make if I knew how to make them. Simple, with a lot of heart and a lot of music.

I celebrated my birthday last night. It meant so much that people came over to celebrate with me. I guess I started my 26th year off the right way.

My horoscope for today reads: "You can't pick a path to take in life today -- sometimes the path has to pick you"
I certainly didn't pick this path. It has without a doubt picked me.
